Exploring the creative possibilities of dance film, A Screendance Event showcases a range of filmic and choreographic styles with film works by Monica Thomas and Jason Chiu, Jason Elewski, and Lizzie Leopold/Brian Mazzaferri. Composers for the films Will Huff and Guru Bhai (Doug Kaplan and Maxwell Allison) will perform live music, and refreshments will be provided. A Screendance Event is an evening to see and explore the interaction of dance, music, and film in this hybrid genre.
